Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Hetk ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Hetk is provided by Hetk Technologies OÜ ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), registered in Estonia.

Description of Service

Hetk is a calendar synchronization and booking management service that:

• Synchronizes calendar events across multiple calendar providers (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCloud)
• Enables booking pages for PROFESSIONAL tier users to accept meeting requests
• Manages availability by checking connected calendars
• Sends notifications for bookings, sync status, and account activity

Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 16 years of age
• Capable of forming a binding contract
• Not barred from using the Service under applicable law

Account Registration and Authentication

OAuth-Based Sign Up

• You create an account by signing in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple
• You grant Hetk permission to access your calendar data
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth provider account

Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access: security@hetk.io
• We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized access

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

• Duration: 21 days from signup
• Access: Full access to all features during trial
• No credit card required: We do not collect payment information until you subscribe
• Trial end: Service stops syncing calendars unless you subscribe

Paid Subscriptions

PERSONAL Tier: $15/year

• 3 calendar connections
• Real-time synchronization
• Privacy controls

PROFESSIONAL Tier: $50/year

• 8 calendar connections
• Booking page functionality
• Custom branding
• API access
• All PERSONAL features

Early Adopter Pricing (first 1,000 customers):

• PERSONAL: $10/year (locked in forever)
• PROFESSIONAL: $35/year (locked in forever)

Billing Terms

• Annual billing: Charged once per year
• Payment processing: Via Stripe (PCI-compliant)
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• Currency: USD or EUR

Refunds

• Trial period: No charges during trial, no refunds needed
• Annual subscriptions: No refunds for partial periods after subscription starts
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing period
• Exception: Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion for technical failures

Acceptable Use

You May:

• Use Hetk for personal or business calendar synchronization
• Connect calendars you own or have permission to access
• Share your booking page with clients and contacts
• Sync events across multiple calendar platforms

You May NOT:

• Use Hetk for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Access others' calendar data without authorization
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from Hetk
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Use Hetk to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute Hetk without written permission

Calendar Data and Permissions

OAuth Permissions

By connecting a calendar, you grant Hetk permission to:

• Read calendar events and metadata
• Create new events (for booking functionality)
• Update existing events (for synchronization)
• Delete events (when you delete them in one calendar)

Your Responsibility

• You own your calendar data: We do not claim ownership of your events
• You control permissions: Revoke access anytime via your OAuth provider
• You are responsible for content: Ensure calendar data complies with these Terms

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Hetk is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We encrypt OAuth tokens and sensitive data
• We do not sell your calendar data
• You can delete your account and data anytime
• We comply with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and CCPA

Service Availability and Modifications

Uptime

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

Service Changes

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Hetk at any time
• We will provide 30 days notice for material changes when feasible
• We are not liable for any modifications or discontinuations

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service "As Is"

HETK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

No Liability for Data Loss

We are not liable for:

• Lost, corrupted, or deleted calendar data
• Missed meetings or appointments
• Sync failures or delays
• OAuth provider outages

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (or €100, whichever is greater)
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, contact us at legal@hetk.io to resolve disputes informally.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

Termination

By You

• Cancel your subscription anytime via account settings
• Access continues until end of billing period
• You may delete your account and all data anytime

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Required by law

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to Hetk ends immediately
• We will delete your data within 30 days (unless required by law to retain)
• OAuth permissions are revoked
• No refunds for unused subscription periods

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hetk.

Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
